Peter Yeung recently presented at the SENIA 2025 Conference on November 28, 2025 held at Keystone International School in Beijing on the topic of “Beyond the Low-Hanging Fruit – AI’s True Role in Education”. Peter spoke about the convergence of AI and advances in learning science that many schools are being challenged to adapt to. These powerful shifts in resources – which are by their very nature double-edged – are affecting the learners in all of our educational institutions and warrant a commensurate response. While safety is a top priority in the education system, advancing and adapting to innovation that enhance education should also be at the forefront. He discussed various options for educators to approach how to accommodate these innovations and their implications for the institutions, educators, learners and parents.
